Hello,
We are currently looking for Beneficiary Attendants (PAB) who are available to work in the Northern region of Quebec, specifically at the Chisasibi Elders’ Home.
The assignment requires the resource to travel up north and to stay in our community for a limited period of time.
The Cree Health Board will be responsible for transport and housing.
Transport:
Choice of mode of transport: plane or car;
Housing:
Transit reservation; a »transit » is a full house, complete with living room, kitchen, 1 or 2 bathrooms and 2 or 3 individual rooms;
Transit are shared among 2 or 3 people, that are employee or agency resources working for the Cree Health Board;
Transit are separated by gender (only men or only women);
Individual room have locks;
Fully equipped with appliances (Washer/Dryer, fridge, stove, microwave and sometimes a separate freezer);
Clean bed sheets and towels are provided (housekeeping);
Agency worker must bring their clothes and their food (groceries can be very expensive in the North);
Transit may be located to walking distance of the workplace; walking may be needed.
Available Work Schedules
We are currently looking for resources who are available to work on the following schedules:
- Day Shift
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday
- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 45-minute lunch break
- Night Shift
- Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
- 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- 45-minute lunch break
- Total: 36.25 hours per week.
Please note that this schedule will be on rotation for 4 weeks.
Here is an example of what the schedule can also look like: start on Monday with 4 day shifts, then one day off, then 2 night shifts over the weekend, one day off, then 4 evening shifts, then 2 days off.
